Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) presented a new type of public transport at the Gitex Global 2024 exhibition - the Floc Duo Capsule.

The unmanned bubble-like device runs on electricity, seats up to 16 passengers, glides smoothly above the ground, and moves along roads, bridges and tunnels. Capsules can move autonomously, form groups, and connect to the metro, buses, and trams.

RTA hopes that the new smart system will solve traffic jams in the city.

In Dubai, the authorities have actively taken on transport to make the city comfortable for the population that arrives every year. The emirate will soon launch an air taxi, and recently announced the development of suspended transport.
